সরকারি দপ্তরের কর্মকর্তা/ কর্মচারীদের বেতন বিল হিসাবরক্ষণ অফিসে আইবাস++ এর মাধ্যমে প্রেরণ করা হয়। এটি পুরোটাই একটি অনলাইন বেইজ সফটওয়্যারের মাধ্যমে সম্পন্ন হয়। হিসাবরক্ষণ অফিস বিল অনুমোদন করত: ইএফটি জেনারেট করে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক বরাবর। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক ইএফটি জেনারেট হওয়ার পরের দিনই গ্রাহক বা সরকারি কর্মচারীদের ব্যাংক হিসাব ক্রেডিট করে দেয়।
ইএফটি পদ্ধতিতে পরের দিনই ব্যাংক হিসাব ক্রেডিট করার ক্ষেত্রে অনেক সময়ই বিলম্ব হয়। সাধারণত ইএফটি হওয়ার পরের দিনই ব্যাংক হিসাব ক্রেডিট হয়। সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যাংক বন্ধ থাকলে বা ইএফটি’র পরের দিন সরকারি ছুটি বা সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি থাকলে ঐ এক বা দুদিন বিলম্ব হয় ব্যাংক হিসাব ক্রেডিট হতে।
